Conference Programme 2011
On the first day of the conference we explored the world in which we operate which followed on from last year’s conference theme of ‘Managing our own Ship’ and included presentations on the current and future economic environment with predications for the next decade, options for resolving the tensions over the environmental impacts of fishing, a look into the marine environment over the next 10 years and the changing face of the consumer.
Day two of the conference had presentations focused on looking at opportunities for the next decade and included information gathering, training, communications and an update on the planned and future work of the Seafood Industry Council.
